Sweden-based online on-demand service Voddler has passed the one million-user mark.
The service, which has deals with Hollywood studios and European producers, launched in June 2010 and is available in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Last week the company announced plans to launch in Spain.Â
ItÂs encouraging to know that Facebook also reached one million users during their first full year of operations. As we now look ahead, growth for us continues to mean close collaboration with movie studios, advertisers and above all our customers. Together we will make sure more movies reach more viewers to the financial benefit of more film makers, said Anders Sjöman, vice-president communication at Voddler.
Voddler offers over 4,000 titles on computers and smartphones and will soon launch on internet-connected TVs.
