Sky retains Champions League rights for Austria

Sky Deutschland has extended the rights it holds to broadcast Champions League matches in Austria by a further three years.

The Munich-based pay TV operator signed a deal with European football governing body UEFA covering the 2012-2015 tournaments. Sky will broadcast all matches live, mostly in HD, and will deliver a range of highlight packages. The operator will also deliver the matches to PCs, iPhones and iPads as part of its recently launched Sky Go TV Anywhere solution.
