Conax expands Russian presence

Russian DTH service Orient Express has selected Conax to secure its platform.

Under the agreement, the Orient Express service delivered from 140° East will be delivered to Siberia and the Far East of the country in MPEG-2 and encrypted with Conax in addition to Irdeto’s conditional access system that is currently in use.

The Orient Express full package including a set-top box and Conax smartcard with one month’s subscription starts from RUB1900 (€46.50).
