Normandie TV pilots HbbTV over DTT

French regional broadcaster Normandie TV is conducting the country’s first HbbTV-over-DTT trial using HyperPanel Lab’s HbbTV solution, including Access’ NetFront Browser DTV Profile.

Normandie TV is the first French broadcaster to carry HbbTV services over digital terrestrial and has selected HyperPanel Lab and Access-powered HbbTV terrestrial set-top boxes for the pilot. The set-tops will provide Normandie TV subscribers with additional services, including access to local information such as news and weather from their television sets.
