France 24 launches Android app

France 24 has launched a new app for Android devices.

The new app gives full access to all France 24 programmes live or on-demand and allows users to replay all programmes that have been broadcast during the preceding two months. In addition, a mapping tool allows users to find news according to their location. The app is free and available in French and English. 

In January, France 24 announced that its iPad app had been downloaded over 150,000 times.
