Swiss cable operator UPC Cablecom is increasing the speed of all of its broadband packages.
Customers taking the Fiber Power 50 package, now called Fiber Power Internet 100, will receive broadband speeds of up to 100Mbps instead of 50Mbps. The price of the package has also been reduced to CHF75 (57) per month from CHF85. The Hispeed 20000 package now offers up to 50Mbps instead of 20Mbps. The increases in speed apply to all packages, including the entry level Fiber Power Internet 5 package, formerly Hispeed 1000, which now delivers up to 5Mbps instead of 1Mbps.
