Netgem increases international revenue

French IPTV technology company Netgem has reported first quarter revenues of €25.7 million, a little over half the €46.9 million it reported for the same quarter a year earlier.

Netgem pointed out that a one-off payment from French telco SFR for software licences granted in January 2010 was included in the previous year’s figures.

Around 47%, or €12 million of the company’s revenues were generated internationally. That figure compares with €3.6 million reported a year earlier.

Netgem also announced it has signed an agreement with Netplus.ch, a group representing five Cable TV operators in Switzerland, for which Netgem will deploy new innovative IPTV  services in the fourth quarter of 2011, including DVR, VOD and nonlinear multimedia content. It has also signed a deal with Croatian telco H1 Telekom.
