Virgin Media adds Sky Arts HD channels

Virgin Media has announced that Sky 1 Arts HD and Sky Arts 2 HD will be added to its platform from April 26.

Both channels, owned by rival pay TV operator BSkyB, are dedicated to arts programming, with content including Songbook, The Book Show, In Confidence, Rock and Roll Exposed and Sky Arts Cinema with Mike Figgis.

The addition of the channels takes the total number of HD channels available on Virgin Media’s cable platform to 31. Sky 1 Arts HD and Sky Arts 2 HD will be available at no extra costs to Virgin Media’s XL TV customers.
