BBC Worldwide chooses GlobeCast for Polish playout

BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the UK public broadcaster, has selected GlobeCast to playout its Polish channels.

The broadcast services provider’s solution for BBC Worldwide includes ingest and workflow set-up, secure storage, subtitling, graphics, encoding, encryption, and delivery of BBC Worldwide’s Polish language versions of BBC Knowledge in high definition, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, and CBeebies, via Eutelsat’s Hot Bird satellite.

GlobeCast has been providing satellite delivery of BBC Knowledge, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, and CBeebies to Eastern Europe and to Southeast Asia for the past three years.
