Trace to launch sports lifestyle channel

French music and lifestyle media group Trace has used the MIP TV programming market to announce the forthcoming launch of a new sports channel, Trace Sports.

The channel is described by Trace as an HD TV service offering factual entertainment and lifestyle content exclusively dedicated to sports celebrities.

The pay TV channel will be launched officially in mid-June, joining existing Trace channels Trace Urban and Trace Tropical. The channel will be available in French and English and will be made available via satellite and IPTV in France.
