Canal Plus Spain to air 3D golf

Pay TV broadcaster Canal Plus Spain is to air a 3D transmission of a pre-Augusta Masters golf pairs tournament tomorrow. The broadcast will be the first time golf has been aired in 3D in Spain.

Subscribers will need an iPlus set-top box and a 3D TV to view the event, which will be aired on Canal Plus Golf and Canal Plus Sport 2. Canal Plus will also provide 3D and HD coverage of the Augusta Masters tournament itself from April 7-10.
