Pay TV provider Sky Austria has revealed that it had 240,000 subscribers at the end of last year, up just over 25,000 year-on-year.
Managing director Kai Mitterlechner said that the pay TV broadcaster would now begin to target delivery of its content to multiple devices including smartphones and tablets. He also said that the broadcaster would expand the availability of HD content, including the launch of an HD sports service. Mitterlechner said that HD customers currently number about 60,000, up from just over 24,000 a year earlier.Â
