Swisscom expands VOD offer

Swisscom has boosted the VOD library on its Swisscom TV platform and made HD titles available to basic customers for the first time.

The IPTV operator said it was adding 160 Swiss films to its Teleclub on Demand platform on April 1, including Die Herbstzeitlosen and Die Schweizermacher. The films cost €3.50 per view or €4.50 for HD titles.

In addition, Swisscom TV’s basic customers can now access HD titles, which were previously only available to Swisscom TV Plus subscribers. Over 900 HD films are available.

Last year more than four million films and sporting events were watched on the on-demand platform, twice as many as during the previous year. Swisscom’s VOD platform now has over 3,700 titles available.
