French pay TV provider Canal Plus posted revenues of 3.364 billion for the nine months to the end of September, up 2.9% year-on-year, thanks to growth in subscriber revenue and ad sales in mainland France.
Canal Plus France added 248,000 net subscribers in the year to September, with all but 2% now taking digital services. The group also reported strong growth in Africa, while its Polish operation achieved some growth despite a tougher economic environment.Â
EBITA was Â760 million, up from Â754 million a year earlier.
Parent company Vivendi posted revenues of Â20.869 billion for the nine months, up 6.9% year-on-year. EBITA was Â4.67 billion, up 10%.
