Zon launches new UI and iConcerts on-demand

Portuguese pay TV operator Zon Multimédia has launched its new advanced user interface and has added a new iConcerts service to its Zon VideoClube video-on-demand offer.

The new user guide, based on NDS’s Snowflake platform, enables viewers to access content on-demand, with content organized thematically, giving customers direct access to programme highlights. Searches can be made by title, actor or director, and users have the option to enter search terms via the alphanumerical keypad.

The iConcerts HD service delivers popular music concerts on-demand for €5 a month.

Zon has also lauched a new wireless gateway device, the 802.11n-enabled Zon Hub.
