Viasat Broadcasting chooses Accedo for LG app

Modern Times Group-owned Viasat Broadcasting has chosen interactive TV specialist Accedo to help develop, test and launch its Viasat OnDemand application for the LG NetCast connected TV platform.

Applications to be launched on the LG platform include a library of catch-up TV content from Viasat’s linear channels, video-on-demand and live streaming of sports events including the Barclays Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. The integration uses Viasat’s existing Irdeto back-end infrastructure.
