Danish cable operator YouSee is to make the Joaquin Phoenix movie Im Still Here available on its video-on-demand service from November 11, the same date the movie premieres in Danish cinemas.
Peter Sølvsten Thomsen, distribution manager at Angel Films, IÂm Still HereÂs Danish distributor, said that the simultaneous release of the film in cinemas and VOD could help reduce piracy. The film will be available on YouSee Plus and parent company TDCÂs HomeTrio IPTV service for DKK99 (Â13.30) for 24 hours, somewhat higher than the normal VOD rental price of between DKK39-49.
