OTE and Romtelecom boost TV numbers

Greek telco OTE, which is jointly owned by Deutsche Telekom and the Greek government, has reported 40,478 IPTV subscribers for the third quarter, up 306.7% year-on-year.

OTE’s Romanian subsidiary Romtelecom had 1,003,182 combined IPTV and DTH TV customers at the end of the period, up 20.7% year-on-year. Romtelecom had 20,900 triple-play customers at the end of period.
