Finnish telco DNAs revenues for the third quarter were boosted by its acquisition of cable operator Welho, giving the telco net sales of Â181 million, up 8.4% year-on-year. The groupÂs EBITDA remained flat at Â48 million.
DNAÂs cable TV base was 596,000 subscribers at the end of September, flat quarter-on-quarter. Fixed broadband subscribers numbered 289,000, down by 1,000, while fixed phone subscribers were 174,000, down from 182,000.
DNA is currently building out a digital-terrestrial HDTV network that will enable 1.5 million Finns to receive HD channels terrestrially by the end of the year.
