French investor Caille launches lifestyle channel

French investor Jean Philippe Caille, who runs investment firm Idealp, has launched a thematic TV channel Montagne TV with Laurent Surbeck, former director of TV8 Montblanch. The free-to-air channel, which has a budget of around €2 million, will focus on lifestyle programming as well as nature documentaries.

The channel will be available via cable, satellite and IPTV in France and the pair hope to launch across Europe.
