French media regulator the CSA has agreed new production obligations for Universal Networks International-owned crime and detective series channel 13ème Rue.
In place of an annual obligation to spend Â100,000 on original production in France with independent producers, the channel will be obliged to invest 18% of its overall spend on original production. The channel will also have to inform the CSA each year about its willingness to meet a commitment to show a minimum of 52 feature-length films for the coming year.
