Disney XD launches on BSkyB

The high definition version of Disney’s boy-skewed Disney XD channel is launching on the BSkyB pay-TV platform in the UK. Disney is rebranding its Jetix channels XD and the UK HD version of the channel will launch October 18. The SD channel launched in the UK in August 2009 and now claims to be the top commercial channel in the UK for boys 8-to-12 years old.
