ESPN International names international development chief

Sports broadcaster ESPN International has appointed Rob Simmelkjaer as vice-president, international development. 

Simmelkjaer, who joined ESPN in 2002 and most recently served as vice-president, corporate projects, where he was responsible for developing new business relationships for ESPN globally, will add responsibilities to his previous position by working closely with ESPN’s regional leaders and local business development teams to identify, explore and execute various business development opportunities. He will report to Russell Wolff, executive vice president and managing director, ESPN International.
