Aurora names business development chief

Optical network infrastructure specialist Aurora Networks has named Scott Weinstein as its vice president of new business development.

Weinstein, who was previously a managing director in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group at Piper Jaffray & Co, will help the company identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions.
