Sky Deutschland to improve next year, says Sullivan

Sky Deutschland CEO Brian Sullivan expects the pay-TV operator’s performance to improve next year. However, negotiations with cable operators will take time, Sullivan told the Reuters news agency.

Sullivan said that negotiations for carriage deals with operators were progressing positively, but were complex. He told Reuters that he had also spoken with pay-TV rival Deutsche Telekom.

Separately, Sky Deutschland has named Wolfram Winter as its new senior vice-president of communications, replacing Hans-Jürgen Croissant. Winter was previously acting head of distribution development.
