CIMG launches Golf Channel in France

Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) has teamed up with France AB Group to launch Golf Channel to audiences in France, the first deal for the channel in mainland Europe.

AB Group will operate the new 24/7 HD channel, which will offer coverage and highlights of live tournaments including the European Senior Tour, Asian Tour, Allianz Tour, PGA Grand Slam, US Open, Ryder Cup and British Open, as well as other golf-related programmes.

In France, Golf Channel is currently available on Free, SFR, Orange, IPTV provider Bouygues, and in October will launch on Bis Television and satellite network Orange.
