Frances AB Group could be preparing to make an offer for OrangeÂs Cinema Series channels, according to local press.
According to newspaper La Tribune, ABÂs sale of the TMC and NT1 digital-terrestrial channels to broadcaster TF1 has given it a war-chest to make the offer. AB is reportedly interested in OrangeÂs rights catalogue, which includes films from Warner Bros and a number of US series.
However, France Telecom is reported to be focusing on a possible sale of the channels to pay-TV provider Canal Plus.
