Unitymedia adds 10 HD channels, TNT HD to launch October 11

Liberty Global-owned German cable operator Unitymedia is boosting its HD offering with the addition of 10 new channels.

Syfy HD will launch on October 5, with Turner’s two new HD channels for Germany, TNT Serie HD and TNT Film HD, set to follow on October 11, all available to customers that have taken the operator’s Digital TV Highlights package. Unitymedia will add National Geographic HD to the same package on November 1, along with Fox HD.

The Digital TV All Stars package, which is available for an additional €5, will include, from October 5, Sport1 HD, MTVNHD, music channels Classica HD and Deluxe Lounge Music HD, and lifestyle channel Bongusto HD.
