Freesat unveils new ad campaign, heads towards two million

UK free-to-air digital satellite platform Freesat has unveiled a new £5m (€5.8m) TV advertising campaign as it heads towards two million sales since launch.

The campaign, the first from Freesat’s new agency VCCP, will comprise a series of 6 and 30-second commercials from October to January featuring Freesat 1, an imaginary satellite space station orbiting Earth, and documenting the activities of the Freesat crew, whose newest member finds himself unable to believe that something as good as Freesat could be “catch-free”.
