Wood to chair WBU technical committee

The European Broadcasting Union’s David Wood has been named chair of the World Broadcasting Unions Technical Committee (WBU-TC).

Wood will take his new role for a two-year term beginning in January. The Toronto-based WBU-TC takes action in areas of common interest to broadcasters including the reduction of interference and common systems for TV, radio and hybrid broadcasting.
