Volia launches 150Mbps internet

Ukrainian cable operator Volia has launched a new DOCSIS 3.0-based internet package offering speeds of up to 150Mbps to subscribers in Kyiv for UAH199.90 (€19) a month, including the use of equipment.

The service will be available to premium pay-TV subscribers for UAH169.90. The service uses Thomson’s TCM470 modems and supports multicast data transmission, IPv6 and AES 128-bit encryption.
