D-Smart launches HD DVR

D-Smart, the Turkish satellite pay-TV operator, is launching a high definition digital video recorder service and has struck a deal with TV technology firm Pace.

The pay-TV operator, which is owned by Turkish media group Dogan Holdings, will offer 11 HD channels including local nets Kanal D, Star TV HD and HD TV Smart as well as international channels including Animal Planet HD, Eurosport HD and Discovery HD.
