German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has inked a VOD deal with CBS Studios International.
This renewed agreement will give customers of ProSiebenSat.1’s online service Maxdome access to watch series including LL Cool J-fronted action series NCIS: Los Angeles, Julianna Margulies’ legal political dramaThe Good Wife and teen revamp 90210.
It comes a couple of months after Maxdome renewed its deal with Twentieth Century Fox and means that Maxdome continues to have access to movies and series from all of the major Hollywood studios including Disney, Sony Pictures, NBC Universal and Warner Bros.
ProSiebenSat.1 launched Maxdome in 2006 and has run it as a joint venture with German Internet service provider United Internet since 2008. Maxdome claims to be Europe’s largest video-on-demand store, with a library of about 25,000 domestic and international film and television titles, more than 200,000 “active users” and two million streams and downloads each month.
