Eesti adds broadband and TV subs

Estonian telco Eesti Telecom added 1,600 fixed line broadband customers during the second quarter via its subsidiary Elion, ending June with a total of 182,200.  Elion also had 113,400 digital TV customers at the end of the first quarter, a 28% year-on-year increase.  

Eesti’s mobile broadband unit EMT added 7,000 new customers in the 12 months to the end of June, giving it a 47% market share.
