Telekom Austria adds aonTV subscribers

Telekom Austria boosted its aonTV subscriber base by 55% in the second quarter, ending June with 123,900 subscribers, compared to 79,900 subscribers a year earlier.

Fixed Net access line loss halved, with 6,000 lines lost in the second quarter compared to 12,600 lines in the same period a year earlier due to successful customer retention measures and continued demand for product bundles. The total number of Fixed Net broadband subscribers increased by 13.7% to 1.1 million at the end of June.

The telco reported fixed line revenues of €458.5m for the second quarter, up slightly from €456.9m a year earlier. EBITDA was down 23.4% to €108.8m.
