ITV may challenge Apple on name

UK commercial broadcaster ITV may launch a legal challenge against Apple if the latter goes ahead with plans to rebrand its Apple TV service as iTV, according to various press reports.

Apple is reportedly planning to launch a new low-cost version of the Apple TV box in the autumn. Technology website Engadget has reported that the company plans to use the iTV brand for the box.
