ADB to offer Premier League on i-CAN boxes

ADB has signed a deal with Top Up TV, the UK’s digital terrestrial pay-TV service, that allows Freeview viewers to watch Premier League football on its i-CAN Easy HD DVB-T2 set-top box.

The i-CAN Easy HD already enables UK residents living in Freeview HD areas to watch HD channels, BBC iPlayer’s catch-up content including high definition programmes, as well as around 50 standard definition Freeview channels. The deal with Top Up TV makes the i-CAN Easy HD the only DVB-T2 box on the market that enables viewers to access premium sports channels from Sky and ESPN. Top Up TV-enabled i-CAN Easy HD set-top boxes will go on sale in the next couple of weeks.
