ESPN UK launching paid-for soccer app

Sports broadcaster ESPN is launching a paid-for iPhone application that will allow users to see video footage of goals scored in Premier League soccer matches. The service costs £3.99 (€4.83) a month or £29.99 for the whole season.

ESPN says that the footage will be delivered to de ices within minutes of the goal being scored. The application will also work on phones equipped with Google’s Android operating system. ESPN has mobile rights to all Premier League games and selected TV rights.
