Turner to launch TNT HD channels in Germany in October

Turner Broadcast System is expected to launch two new HD channels for Germany in October, according to local reports.

Turner will launch two HD channels based on its existing TNT services, TNT Serie HD and TNT Film HD.

The channels will initially launch on Unitymedia’s platform on October 11, followed by Kabel Deutschland later, according to the reports. Talks with other platforms are ongoing.
