Tele Columbus strikes deal with Chemnitz housing association

German cable operator Tele Columbus has struck a deal with the Chemnitz General Housing Association to deliver digital TV services to about 7,300 homes in the eastern German city.

The deal will mean that Chemnitz residents will be able to receive over 40 commercial channels and the HD services of RTL and ProSiebenSat.1 as part of their basic package. Tele Columbus will also deliver broadband and telephony services to the association’s tenants, including up to 100Mbps internet access from next spring.
