Kabel BW strikes deal with Hirschberg operator

German cable operator Kabel BW has teamed up with local operator Medicom to provide triple-play services in the town of Hirschberg.

The partnership will enable 1,200 homes in Hirschberg to receive 100Mbps internet access as well as digital TV, HDTV, interactive services and cable telephony. Medicom has already upgraded the network it operates in the town.
