Eurosport iPhone app hits 2.5m

Eurosport’s iPhone app has been downloaded over 2.5 million times.

The TF1-backed sports broadcaster released download figures on the first anniversary of the launch of the app, which gives users access to sports news and information. The company has now launched it in nine different languages. It said that the app has proved most popular in France, Germany, Italy and the UK respectively.
