Triple-play and digital boost Ziggo

Digital TV sales and the migration of customer to its triple-play offer helped push Dutch cable operator Ziggo’s first-half revenues to €676.6m, up 7% year-on-year. Ziggo turned in an operating profit of €139.6m, up from €95.4m a year earlier.

Ziggo added 58,000 triple-play customers in the three months to June, while its broadband base grew by 20,000, telephony by 40,000 and digital TV by 55,000.
