ADB ships new devices to Slovakia and Poland

Set-top vendor ADB has delivered new devices to customers in Slovakia and Poland.

In Slovakia, ADB has delivered the ADB-5810SX HD DVR and the ADB-3820S HD hybrid DTH set-top boxes to Slovak Telekom for the expansion of its Magio TV service. Both products can access personal media files and pause live TV via a USB stick. Future interactive services including VOD are also built-in.

In Poland, DTH operator ITI Neovision has launches its new TNK HD retail offering using the ADB-2850ST hybrid HD platform. Polish consumers are able to view a range of free-to-air satellite and terrestrial channels, as well as have the option to buy premium content via a smartcard, and access over-the-top services. The new TNK HD receivers are being tested and will be commercially available from September 1.

The device comes with ADB’s Carbo high-definition user interface. It also lets consumers add DVR functionality by using external hard disks drives.
