Tele2 launches analogue cable service
Dutch service provider Tele2 has launched its new analogue TV service based on the mandatory wholesale offer from cable operators Ziggo and UPC Netherlands.
Tele2 is offering a standalone TV package for 15, while a triple-play package with internet and telephony access is available for Â39.95 (with a promotional offer of Â24.95 for the first three months).
The cable service is also available as an add-on to Tele2Âs existing triple-play package (including digital TV over its own network) for Â5. Separately, Tele2 is reported to be in talks with the Dutch football league for carriage of its soon-to-be-launched Eredivisie Live HD channel.
