Tele2 launches analogue cable service

Dutch service provider Tele2 has launched its new analogue TV service based on the mandatory wholesale offer from cable operators Ziggo and UPC Netherlands.

Tele2 is offering a standalone TV package for €15, while a triple-play package with internet and telephony access is available for €39.95 (with a promotional offer of €24.95 for the first three months).

The cable service is also available as an add-on to Tele2’s existing triple-play package (including digital TV over its own network) for €5. Separately, Tele2 is reported to be in talks with the Dutch football league for carriage of its soon-to-be-launched Eredivisie Live HD channel.
