Swisscom has launched a high-definition on-demand service.
A selection of Hollywood blockbusters, including Avatar, The Hurt Locker and Up In The Air, are available in HD from CHF7.50 (5.50) per film. The Swiss cable operator is offering its customers one HD film for free to promote the service.
SwisscomÂs on-demand service is currently available in Zurich and Graubünden. It will launch in Basle this autumn with the remaining network being upgraded next year.
