Digital viewing up in the Netherlands

The proportion of Dutch homes watching digital TV has risen to 55%, according to a survey by Intomart for ratings group SKO. That figure is up from 51% in the second half of 2009.

The percentage of households watching TV online increased to 40.1% in the last six months, up from 34.9% during the previous quarter. One in five homes has a hard disk recorder and only 3% of respondents said they watch mobile TV.
