Dutch football channel to launch in HD

The Dutch football league’s Eredivisie Live channel will launch in HD for the coming season, according to local reports.

The HD channel will be a simulcast of the main Eredivisie Live 1 channel, according to the reports. Distribution agreements have still to be signed, with service provider Caiway among those likely to carry the channel.
