Net Insight and Ericsson win contract for Polish DTT

Polish transmission network provider Emitel has ordered equipment from Net Insight and Ericsson to build a new digital-terrestrial media network.
The network will enable viewers to access public broadcaster TVPs channels via DVB-T. Ericsson will deliver headend and installation services while Net Insight will supply its Nimbra transmission platform and software technology.
The new media network will also include contribution services between 16 TV studios in Poland.
