More EMEA launches planned as AXN HD rolls out in Poland

Sony Pictures Television has launched the high definition version of its action and adventure channel AXN in Poland.

The launch on the Cyfrowy Polsat platform follows the rollout of AXN HD on Imagenio in Spain, Sky Italia and various pay-TV services in Portugal in recent months. Sony said that Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Africa would be the next to receive the HD channel.
